Michelle Jones, often referred to as MJ, is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She is portrayed by Zendaya.
MJ is introduced as a classmate of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). Initially a detached and observant student, she gradually becomes a close friend and eventually Peter's girlfriend.
Unlike previous incarnations of "MJ" who have been outgoing and popular, this version is more introverted, sarcastic, and intellectual.
